Pangungunahan ang mga dadalong bituin ng mga Hall of Fame awardees na sina Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto, sound engineer Albert Michael Idioma, at veteran screenwriter and National Artist Ricky Lee na bibigyang pugay dahil sa sampung beses o higit pang pagkapanalo nila sa kategoryang Movie Actress of the Year, Movie Sound Engineer of the Year, at Movie Screenwriter of the Year, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Nominado rin sina Vice Ganda at Nadine sa Movie Actor at Actress of the Year.

Habang magkakaroon naman ng spot number si Asia's Phoenix Morissette, na nominadong New Movie Actress of the Year para sa "Song of the Fireflies."

Korea Skin, IOSS INSURANCE AGENCY INC., Dexter’s Pizza, at Groovy Cafe.

Here’s Why Jennifer Lee’s Life Took So Many Turns, and Why It All Led Here

Image
By Boy Romero  Jennifer Lee has come a long way since her showbiz days. After stepping away from acting, she went back to school at Enderun Colleges and earned a degree in BS International Hospitality Management, major in Hotel Administration and Culinary Arts. She later worked as a chef and even co-hosted a cooking show with Chef Luigi Muhlach. At one point, she also launched her own food delivery and catering business. But music stayed close to her heart. Jennifer studied how to be a DJ. Not long after, she started winning awards and eventually became a multi-awarded DJ in the Philippines. She was later named an Aliw Awards Hall of Famer for Best DJ for Electronic Music. In 2021, Jennifer met Lipa City councilor Mark Aries Luancing in Batangas. Mark is a public servant in Lipa City. Their relationship grew quietly. Soon after, they were blessed with a son named Jediel. The couple tied the knot on December 6, 2025, at Madonna del Divino Amore Parish. Jennifer walked do...

Bonifacio – Ang Supremo and the History We Choose to Forget

Image
By Boy Romero  What makes a musical play memorable, really? Is it the music that stays in your head long after the curtain falls? Is it the actors who carry every scene like they were born for the role? Or perhaps it’s the story that doesn’t just entertain you but makes you rethink what you thought you knew. Bonifacio: The Supremo is the biggest production yet of the Philstagers Foundation. Written, directed, and headlined by Atty. Vince Tañada, it tells the story of Andres Bonifacio beyond the textbook version. This isn’t just history reenacted in period costumes. It’s an urgent reminder of why history matters. In their research, they surveyed students and teachers. Eight out of ten believed Bonifacio was killed by the Spaniards. The truth is harder to accept. He was executed by fellow Filipinos, political rivals who saw him as a threat. It’s not a detail that makes it into most classroom lessons. But it should. Because when we lose the uncomfortable truths, we lose pi...
