Here’s Why Jennifer Lee’s Life Took So Many Turns, and Why It All Led Here
By Boy Romero
Jennifer Lee has come a long way since her showbiz days. After stepping away from acting, she went back to school at Enderun Colleges and earned a degree in BS International Hospitality Management, major in Hotel Administration and Culinary Arts.
She later worked as a chef and even co-hosted a cooking show with Chef Luigi Muhlach. At one point, she also launched her own food delivery and catering business.
But music stayed close to her heart.
Jennifer studied how to be a DJ. Not long after, she started winning awards and eventually became a multi-awarded DJ in the Philippines. She was later named an Aliw Awards Hall of Famer for Best DJ for Electronic Music.
In 2021, Jennifer met Lipa City councilor Mark Aries Luancing in Batangas. Mark is a public servant in Lipa City. Their relationship grew quietly. Soon after, they were blessed with a son named Jediel.
The couple tied the knot on December 6, 2025, at Madonna del Divino Amore Parish.
Jennifer walked down the aisle in a custom gown by Francis Libiran. The entourage wore suits and dresses by Paul Semira. For her glam, she trusted Dennis Santos and his team.
Among the bridesmaids were close friends from different industries. Jaycee Parker Aguas, now an Angeles City councilor and PCL National Vice President. Rachel Villanueva-Co, CEO of Autoflare Corp. Daiana Menesez, host from Net25. And Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Tee.
The ceremony moved fast, with no awkward pauses. Guests were seen laughing, reacting, and pulling out their phones as the couple shared light, unscripted moments between program parts. It just felt wholesome.
Their dream wedding came together through a full production team. EyeCandy styled the Versailles Palace venue. Always in Motion handled the visuals. Blackbox provided the lights and sounds. Right at the center stood a massive wedding cake by Ross Paris, which quickly became a photo favorite.
Now, Jennifer is fully focused on her DJ career. She also hopes to release an original song that she personally wrote and plans to record soon.
Still, she is not turning her back on acting.
She remains open to returning, especially to action roles, after appearing in projects like Ang Probinsyano on ABS-CBN, Steal and Babaylan on Viva One, and the Netflix film Maria.
From action scenes to DJ stages, and now to marriage and motherhood. Jennifer Lee keeps moving forward.
